The Company

In August 1988, Profab Engineering Pty Ltd was formed as an enterprise to fabricate and install Architectural / Structural and Designer Metalwork to the Construction Industry both in Victoria and interstate.

In all the projects undertaken Profab Engineering takes a professional and consultative approach to achieve the client’s desired outcomes incorporating the latest innovation and expertise for the tasks at hand. Profab Engineering establishes excellent working relationships with project key personnel to be able to ensure smooth and time efficient progress at each stage from conception to hand over.

The directors and staff of the company are dedicated to providing our services efficiently, effectively and with the highest standard of our trade utilizing the knowledge and experience gained over many years in the construction industry.

Recently the company has been acquired by Simpson Millar Projects and new directors appointed. A new stage in the business has begun with investment on equipment, personnel, training and facilities.

PROFAB ENGINEERING PTY LTD has implemented and is rigidly committed to improve our OHSE performance to eliminate OHSE hazards and risks within the workplace, it aims to promote a genuine focus on OHSE within the Australian Construction Industry to meet the principal requirements of:
 
  • Australian Standard/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS4801
  • Australian Standard/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS International Standards Association (ISO)14001
  • NOHSC:1016 National Standard for Construction Work
  • NOHSC:2005(1990) National Code of Practice for Manual Handling
 
Our Plant and Equipment is routinely tested to ensure the safety of our working crews whether at our fabrication plant or on construction sites.
All certificates and Safety Work Statements are provided and adhered to by our staff at all locations.
